LAMJUNG: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, stated that the government, formed under an agreement between the Nepali Congress and CPN UML, is prioritizing reforms in governance and the national economy.
Speaking at a felicitation program organized by the Madhyanepal municipal committee of UML, Minister Gurung expressed that the expected pace of development has not been achieved due to the lack of a stable government.
He urged all concerned parties to focus on implementing reforms in governance and the economy.
The Minister emphasized that public trust in the current government is growing, which necessitates effective delivery. “The government cannot afford to fail,” he remarked.
Minister Gurung also announced plans to provide free internet facilities to all community schools.
On the occasion, the municipal committee chair, Suman Shrestha, extended best wishes to Minister Gurung for a successful tenure.
The minister was honored with garlands and shawls by committee members, party cadres, and locals.
