KATHMANDU: Cricket enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the Women’s T20I Asia Cup 2024, set to unfold in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, from July 19th to July 28th, 2024.

Organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), this edition promises heightened excitement and competition with the participation of eight formidable teams.

Expanding from the previous edition, this tournament reflects the burgeoning interest and involvement in women’s cricket across the Asian continent.

Joining cricketing powerhouses like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh are the emerging talents from UAE, Malaysia, Nepal, and Thailand, who secured semi-final berths in the Women’s Premier Cup 2024.

In a nod to inclusivity and gender equality, the ACC reaffirms its commitment by ensuring all-female referees and umpires, a tradition carried forward from the successful implementation in the preceding edition.
