Maoist Center holding Standing Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The ruling Maoist Center is holding a meeting of its Standing Committee today.

The meeting originally scheduled for Sunday, is set to convene today at the party office, Parisdanda in Koteswor.

Sunday’s meeting was postponed due to the busy schedule of party Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

During today’s session, Chairman Dahal is slated to address various issues, with a focus on government affairs.

Maoist leader Ganesh Sah said that the meeting agenda includes the evaluation of the Maoist Center’s transformation special campaign, preparations for upcoming campaigns, and the distribution of responsibilities among leaders.

Additionally, discussions are anticipated on the organization strengthening campaign and the north-south campaign, slated to be carried out by the Maoist Center in the Terai (Madhesh) district from March 14.
