Four Parliamentary Committees to hold meetings today



KATHMANDU: Four different parliamentary committees are scheduled to meet today.

The Finance Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, and Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will hold meetings today.

The Finance and Infrastructure Development Committees will meet at 11 am, while the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee and the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will meet at 1 pm, all at Singha Durbar in Kathmandu.

The Finance Committee’s meeting will focus on the draft report of the Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080.

The Infrastructure Development Committee will discuss the Electricity Bill, 2080, along with the amendments made by the committee members.

Meanwhile, the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will review the bill concerning the formation, operation, and conditions of service of the Federal Civil Service, in consultation with the chief whip and other whips.

The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will focus on the Shaheed Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University Bill, 2080.
