Blind T20 World Cup Cricket: Nepal defeats South Africa by 11 runs



KATHMANDU: Nepal defeated South Africa to register its second consecutive win in the Blind T20 World Cup Cricket tournament.

In the match played in Lahore, Pakistan earlier today, Nepal defeated South Africa by 11 runs.

Chasing the target of 199 runs set by Nepal, South Africa finished their full quota of 20 overs with 187 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Nepal’s opener Naresh Chaudhary scored 80 runs while Sagar Lama was out for 40, Padam Badaila for 34 and Bharat Thapa for 11 runs to score 198 runs at the loss of 4 wickets.

Prior to this, Nepal had defeated Afghanistan by 108 runs in the match played on Monday.
