Three girls die in landslide in Ramechhap



RAMECHHAP: Three people were killed in a landslide that struck Gokulganga Rural Municipality-6 in Ramechhap last evening.

According to the Ramechhap District Police Office, the victims were three girls aged 13, 15, and 17.

The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Sita Tamang, 15-year-old Ashika Tamang, and 13-year-old Laxmi Tamang.

Residents of nearby houses at risk of landslides have been evacuated.

Police stated that the three victims had returned home early from working in the fields when the landslide buried their house.

The district police office has been active in rescue efforts since the incident occurred, but as of now, no additional details have been reported.
