Landslide disrupts vehicular movements on Narayangadh-Muglin road

KATHMANDU: Vehicular movements on the Narayangadh-Muglin road have been disrupted by a landslide.

The landslide occurred at Ichha Kamana Rural Municipality-6 in Chitwan district.

Local authorities and other concerned agencies are working to restore the road and ensure it remains passable.

As the monsoon season grips the country, many regions are experiencing heavy rainfall.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces are expected to see widespread showers, while other provinces may experience scattered to moderate rainfall.

Significant weather changes are forecasted for Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces tonight, while other areas should expect scattered to normal conditions.
