KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Barsaman Pun presented the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2080-81 BS and the Annual Review of Public Institutions, 2081 BS, in the parliamentary session amid obstructions from the main opposition party, Nepali Congress.
Finance Minister Pun presented the Economic Survey and Annual Review while lawmakers from the Nepali Congress were obstructing the meeting, chanting slogans demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s involvement in a cooperative fraud case.
