KATHMANDU: In the ongoing second T20 match against Ireland Wolves, Nepal displayed a solid performance by scoring 51 runs while losing two wickets in the first six overs.

Taking the crease after winning the toss at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal opted to bat first. However, both opening batsmen, Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh, faced early dismissals after scoring 25 and 11 runs respectively.

The bowling prowess of Matthew T Foster from Ireland Wolves proved effective as he claimed two wickets during the powerplay.

At present, Gulsan Jha and Anil Sah are leading the batting charge, aiming to establish a strong partnership.

In the previous encounter between these teams on Monday, Nepal emerged victorious by defeating Ireland Wolves by six wickets.
