Festivals strengthen national unity: President Paudel



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel stated that festivals play a key role in promoting diverse cultural identities while fostering mutual goodwill, tolerance, and solidarity among communities with different religious beliefs.

On the occasion of Christmas Day, he extended his best wishes to the Christian community for happiness, peace, and good health.

He expressed his confidence that such festivals would continue to strengthen and solidify national unity.

Christmas Day, celebrated annually on December 25, marks the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ.

Various events are being organized across the country, including in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Pokhara, to commemorate the day.

President Paudel wished that the Christian festival would inspire all to cultivate the spirit of mutual trust, love, and unity.
