After Pokhara, RSP’s movement shifts to Maitighar



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has launched its movement in Maitighar Mandala, Kathmandu, following the arrest of party Chairman and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

The protest against his arrest commenced with a demonstration centered in Maitighar in Kathmandu.

In response to Rabi’s arrest, RSP leaders and activists who had been protesting in Pokhara have now joined the demonstrations in Kathmandu.

RSP Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti stated that a significant number of supporters are expected to attend the protest.

He also mentioned that leaders from the party office will be arriving at the protest site.

Notable figures in the Kathmandu movement include RSP Vice-Chairman Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party Birajbhakta Shrestha, and MPs Sumana Shrestha and Shishir Khanal, among others.
