HoR passes budget for FY 2024/25 with majority



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has approved the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS, with a majority vote.

Finance Minister Barsa Man Pun presented the proposal to endorse the bill during Tuesday’s HoR meeting.

The government unveiled the budget earlier on May 28.

Following the presentation, the HoR has been deliberating on the budget since June 11.

The successful passage of the bill marks a significant step in the government’s financial planning for the upcoming fiscal year.
