Rainfall in Kathmandu and surrounding regions early Saturday morning



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley and several other hilly regions in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Lumbini Provinces experienced rainfall starting early Saturday morning.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy in the Karnali and Sudur Paschim Provinces, as well as the hilly regions.

The rest of the country is forecasted to be partly cloudy to mainly fair later in the afternoon.

Currently, the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Koshi, and Karnali Provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country enjoys fair weather.

Brief rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in one or two places in the Lumbini Province and the hilly regions of the rest of the country.
