12 passengers injured in Banepa bus accident



BANEPA: Twelve passengers were injured in a bus accident in Banepa, Kavre on Monday morning.

The bus number — Ba 2 B 9456 – met with an accident in Banepa Municipality-12, Bansdol Thumka.

Police said that the bus, traveling from Bansdol towards Banepa, lost control and collided with the gate of a two-and-a-half-storey concrete house belonging to local resident Shiva Prasad Gyawali.

The bus was carrying 30 passengers at the time of the accident, according to the Kavre district police office, with 12 sustaining injuries.

The injured have been transported to Shir Memorial Hospital Banepa, including the bus driver.
