KATHMANDU: The cricket fever is soaring as Nepal faces off against the Netherlands in the final match of the tri-nations ODI series at the iconic Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Currently, Nepal is in the batting position against the Netherlands, promising an action-packed showdown for cricket enthusiasts worldwide.

Despite Namibia leading the table with three wins, securing 6 points, Nepal and the Netherlands, each with a single victory, stand second and third respectively, with two points each.

Following Nepal’s impressive 9-wicket triumph over the Netherlands in a previous match, they secure the second spot based on run rate.

Part of the highly competitive League-2 are eight countries, including Nepal, Netherlands, Namibia, Canada, Oman, Scotland, UAE, and America.

The current visiting teams, Namibia and the Netherlands, add to the excitement of this cricketing extravaganza.

As per ICC regulations, the top four teams in League-2 will earn qualification for the World Cup qualifiers, while the next four countries will vie for a spot in the esteemed Cricket World Cup.
