KATHMANDU: Manrupa Sharma, representing the ruling Maoist Center, emerged victorious in the National Assembly (NA) election from Gandaki Province.

Her triumph was from the women cluster, where she garnered a total of 3,660 votes, as reported by the Election Commission.

Samjhana Devkota of the opposition CPN-UML got 2,553 votes.
