NEPSE up by 14.11 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) went up on Tuesday, increasing by 14.11 points to close at 2,626.31, marking a 0.54 percent rise compared to Monday.

A total of 167 companies saw their share prices rise, while 71 experienced a decline, and six remained unchanged.

The top gainers of the day were Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited which went up 10 percent each.

Among the sub-indices, all but two experienced gains.

Development Bank led the way with a 1.75 percent increase, followed by Finance, which went up by 1.62 percent, and Investment, which saw a 0.96 percent rise.

The only sub-indexes to decline were Manufacturing and Processing and Trading, which dropped by 2.32 percent and 0.45 percent respectively.
