Opened to the public on November 24, the new tower has attracted over 31,000 visitors so far.

Acting Project Director Prakash Aryal stated that Dharahara remains closed every Wednesday, while an average of 1,200 visitors climb the tower daily on other days.

Special concessions, including a 50 percent discount, are provided for children, senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities.

The entry fee for Nepali citizens is set at Rs 200 per person. Tourists from SAARC countries are charged Rs 500, while visitors from non-SAARC nations pay Rs 1,000.

Parking fees within the Dharahara premises are Rs 20 per hour for four-wheelers and Rs 10 for two-wheelers. An additional Rs 50 is charged for entry into the Dharahara premises.

As per the Special Structure Operation and Management Development Committee Order 2024, additional charges apply for specific uses of the landmark.

Advertising of national significance on the new Dharahara structure costs Rs 5,000 per hour, while commercial video shoots and photography are charged Rs 5,000 and Rs 1,000 per hour, respectively.

The management committee reported significant public interest in the reconstructed tower within a short period. Additionally, the site has seen growing attention from tourists from neighboring countries.
