KATHMANDU: The government has announced that advance booking for public transport tickets for the upcoming Dashain festival will begin on Ashwin 12.

The decision was made on Tuesday during a meeting between transport business representatives, officials from the Department of Transport Management, and other concerned agencies.

Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs, Saroj Sitaula confirmed the decision, emphasizing that preparations are underway to ensure smooth travel during the holiday period.
