KATHMANDU: Protests against the arrest of Durga Prasai, owner of B&C Medical College in Birtamode are escalating daily.

His supporters are rallying in various locations across the country, including Kathmandu, demanding his unconditional release following his arrest two days ago by the Cyber Bureau of the Nepal Police.

On Tuesday, groups such as Sangharsh Samiti Nepal, Churebhawar Rastriya Ekta Party Nepal, and Nagarik bachau Maha Abhiyan Nepal gathered at Maitighar Mandal to show their support for Prasai.

Demonstrators wore masks and black tape over their mouths to symbolize their protest.

They also showcased a statement from Prasai: “I will fight with KP Oli till the last drop of blood.”
