US Ambassador expresses sadness over Saurya plane crash

KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R. Thompson has expressed deep sadness over the Saurya Airlines plane crash in Kathmandu, which claimed the lives of 18 people on board.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic Saurya Airlines plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport today. My heart goes out to the families and friends of all the individuals who lost their lives,” he stated.

It may be noted that 18 out of the 19 people aboard the ill-fated Saurya Airlines flight that crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Wednesday morning, died.
