PM Oli visits Saurya Airlines plane crash site

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli visited the crash site of Saurya Airlines following the tragic incident.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, PM Oli inspected the scene where the aircraft crashed.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of 18 technicians and crew members in the plane crash as they were preparing for a routine technical test flight to Pokhara,” Prime Minister Oli expressed on social media after surveying the accident site.

“I have come here to ascertain the cause after consulting with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. The airport is now operational. I urge everyone to remain patient during this difficult time,” he stated.

On Wednesday morning, 18 individuals lost their lives in the plane crash.
