Around Rs 40 million collected in one year from monetary offerings at Pathibhara Temple



TAPLEJUNG: The temple of Hindu goddess Pathibhara in Taplejung has amassed approximately Rs 40 million in monetary offerings over the past year.

Devotees, both local and international, flock to the renowned religious shrine, contributing significantly to its funds.

Executive director Prajin Hangbang of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee disclosed that Rs 16.42 million was gathered in the last four months alone.

The temple experiences a peak in visitors, particularly during the Chaite Dashain festival observed in March-April.

The Committee recently presented its annual report for the fiscal year 2080-81 BS (2023-24) on Tuesday, noting a total of 231,334 devotees visited the temple during that period.
