Saurya Airlines plane catches fire at Tribhuvan International Airport



KATHMANDU: Tragedy struck as a plane belonging to Saurya Airlines crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, Nepal, igniting into flames.

According to sources at Tribhuvan International Airport, the aircraft skidded off the runway during takeoff, resulting in an accident.

The incident occurred as the plane was departing from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Following the accident, the aircraft caught fire, releasing a significant plume of smoke.

A team of firefighters and security personnel has been deployed to extinguish the fire on the aircraft due to the accident.

Currently, a team of firefighters and security personnel are working to contain the situation.
