DIG Pokharel recommended for promotion to AIG

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Poshraj Pokharel for promotion to the rank of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).

The Promotion Committee under the Ministry of Home Affairs endorsed Pokharel’s promotion to the rank of AIG.

The recommendation follows sub-rule (4) of Rule 27 of the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments).

Pokharel is currently stationed at the Nepal Police Head Office, serving in the Women, Children, and Senior Citizen Services Directorate in Naxal.
