NC seeks PM’s response to allegations made by Home Minister Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party, has called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to address the allegations made by Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane during a recent parliament meeting.

In a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday, the NC drew PM Dahal’s attention to the accusations made by Home Minister Lamichhane against the party and its lawmakers.

“We drew the attention of PM Dahal to the serious accusations made by the Home Minister against our party and lawmakers in the parliamentary meeting,” said Ramesh Lekhak, the NC Chief Whip, who attended the meeting.

The meeting of key political leaders was convened by PM Dahal in an effort to resolve the ongoing parliamentary deadlock.
