KATHMANDU: The National Assembly session has been postponed until Sunday due to continued obstruction by the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC).

NC lawmakers stood in protest and began chanting slogans in the Upper House, demanding the formation of a probe committee to investigate the alleged involvement of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

NC has been obstructing Parliament proceedings, demanding an investigation into Minister Lamichhane’s actions.

Following the NC obstruction, NA Chair Narayan Dahal postponed the meeting until 11:30 am on Sunday.
