Bagmati province assembly meeting prorogued tonight



HETAUDA: Chief of Bagmati Province Yadav Chandra Sharma has prorogued the ongoing session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly from this midnight.

The session of the Provincial Assembly was prorogued in accordance with Article 183 (2) of the Constitution, according to Spokesperson of the Province Chief Secretariat, Govinda Prasad Paudel.

Speaker Bhuvan Kumar Pathak had adjourned the meeting until further notice, after Chief Minister Shaligram Jamakattel took the vote of confidence for the third time on April 1.
