Country will never progress with coalition govt: KP Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Oli has asserted that to create a prosperous nation, the country needs a decisive national force, and the culture of forming coalition governments can never lead the country to prosperity.

Addressing an electoral assembly organized by the UML in Chulachuli, Ilam constituency no. 2 on Wednesday, Chairman Oli expressed the need for a decisive national force to build the nation.

He emphasized that the country will never progress solely through alliances and advocated for giving a single-party majority to UML in the upcoming elections.

Oli claimed victory for UML candidate Suhang Nembang, who has received support from CPN-Maoist Center, Nepal Communist Party, and the Parivar Dal, ahead of the by-election in Ilam on April 27.

The UML Chairman claimed that UML has been leading in establishing the issue of identity and ensuring representation in positions such as the President, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, and many others.

Oli assured to focus on the development agenda of Ilam provided Suhang wins the election.
