Rana Singh Pariyar sworn in as Minister in Karnali Province



KATHMANDU: Rana Singh Pariyar of the CPN (Maoist Center) took the oath of office and secrecy as a minister in Karnali Province on Wednesday.

The oath was administered by Province Chief Tilak Pariyar.

The decision to appoint Pariyar as a minister was made during a meeting of the party’s parliamentary party in the province.

However, the specific portfolio assigned to Minister Pariyar is yet to be determined.

Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel is scheduled to undergo a vote of confidence on Thursday.
