President administers oath to 5 newly appointed ambassadors

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to five newly appointed ambassadors today.

At a ceremony held at the President’s Office, Jang Bahadur Chauhan was sworn in as Ambassador to Russia, Chandrakumar Ghimire as Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Shanil Nepal as Ambassador to Spain, Dr Shivmaya Tumbahangphe as Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, and Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma as Ambassador to India.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Government of Nepal.
