KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for Tuesday.
The US dollar has seen a decrease in value, leading to an increase in the value of several other currencies, including the Euro, Pound, and Dinar.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar today is 133 rupees 56 paisa, and the selling rate is 134 rupees 16 paisa.
Yesterday, the rates were 133 rupees 57 paisa and 134 rupees 17 paisa respectively. The US dollar fell today after maintaining a two-day high.
Similarly, the buying rate for 1 Euro today is 145 rupees 39 paisa, with a selling rate of 146 rupees 05 paisa. Yesterday’s rates were 145 rupees 31 paisa and 145 rupees 96 paisa respectively.
For the British pound, today’s buying rate is 172 rupees 73 paisa, and the selling rate is 173 rupees 51 paisa. Yesterday, it was 172 rupees 59 paisa for buying and 173 rupees 36 paisa for selling.
Today’s rates for the Australian dollar are 88 rupees 96 paisa for buying and 89 rupees 36 paisa for selling, compared to yesterday’s 89 rupees 26 paisa and 89 rupees 67 paisa.
For the Kuwaiti dinar, the rates today are 436 rupees 93 paisa for buying and 438 rupees 90 paisa for selling, whereas yesterday they were 437 rupees and 438 rupees 97 paisa respectively.
Similarly, today’s buying rate for the Bahraini dinar is 354 rupees 31, and the selling rate is 355 rupees 90 paisa, slightly up from yesterday’s 354 rupees 30 and 355 rupees 89 paisa.
