One dead, six injured in Jajarkot flood

KATHMANDU: A teacher lost his life in a flood near Tarechaur, Kushe Rural Municipality-1, Jajarkot.

The deceased has been identified as Indra Bahadur Rokaya, a teacher at Malatakura Secondary School, according to Devika Singh, Chairperson of the Rural Municipality.

Rokaya was swept away by the flood while fishing in the river.

Additionally, six others were injured in the same incident.
