KATHMANDU: President Paudel Urges Global Engagement in Peace, Co-Existence, and Tolerance Campaign President Ram Chandra Paudel has urged people from all walks of life to participate in a concerted effort to bolster peace, co-existence, tolerance, and mutual respect worldwide.
In a message marking the 2568th Buddha Jayanti today, President Paudel expressed his hope that the enduring message and teachings of Buddha would serve as an inspiration for individuals, societies, and the global community to actively promote peace.
Extending his heartfelt wishes for happiness, peace, and prosperity to all Nepalis, both domestically and internationally, on the occasion of Gautam Buddha’s birth anniversary, President Paudel hailed Buddha as the champion of Buddhist philosophy and a source of national pride.
“I firmly believe that by upholding tolerance and fostering mutual harmony among religious, social, and cultural diversities, we can further solidify national unity. This vision is achievable through embracing the enlightening teachings and principles of Buddha, the advocate of peace,” remarked President Paudel.
