KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that Nepal is currently under the partial influence of local winds, westerly winds, and a low-pressure system around Bihar.

According to the Division, the weather is partly to mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, while the rest of the country is experiencing similar conditions.

A few places in the Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces are experiencing light rain with thunder and lightning.

This afternoon, it will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and gale-force winds in some parts of the hilly areas of the country, including Bagmati, Koshi, Gandaki, and Madhesh provinces.

There is also a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of the country.

Similarly, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country tonight, while the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country.
