Nepal condemns terrorist attack in Moscow



KATHMANDU: Nepal has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred during a musical concert in Moscow, the capital of Russia, yesterday.

Expressing shock and dismay, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release today, stating that the Government of Nepal is deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives and injuries sustained by numerous innocent individuals in the terrorist attacks.

The government extended heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the people and the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as to the victims and their families.

“The Government of Nepal, consistent with its principled stance, unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and firmly believes that terrorism must be tackled decisively wherever and whenever it occurs,” the press release emphasized.

Furthermore, the Government of Nepal wished for the swift recovery of those injured and expressed confidence that the perpetrators of these despicable acts would be swiftly brought to justice.
