One arrested with 2 kg of gold in Rasuwa

RASUWA: A man has been arrested in Rasuwa with two kilograms of gold.

Police apprehended 34-year-old Karma Sonam Lama, a resident of Bridhim in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-3, last night in Kalika Rural Municipality-1.

Officers from the Temporary Police Post in Grang discovered the gold while inspecting a motorcycle (Bagmati Province 02-043 Pa 2434) that was en route to Kalika.

The gold was found concealed inside both of Lama’s shoes. The Rasuwa Police have stated that investigations are ongoing.
