KATHMANDU: Leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) currently in China at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), have decided to return to Nepal earlier than planned. The delegation, which was set for a 10-day visit, will be cutting their trip short due to ongoing political developments in Nepal.

One member of the visiting team informed Khabarhub, “Given the situation, we had to return. We have booked tickets and will be back tomorrow.”

The delegation, led by Vice Chair Swarnim Wagle, flew to China on Saturday midnight as part of a formal invitation from the CCP.

Wagle expressed concerns about potential conspiracies against the party chair, stating, “There are signs that there may be a conspiracy against our party chair in Nepal, prompting our immediate return.”

The team comprises 14 members, including Party Vice Chair Swarnim Wagle, Head of International Relations Shishir Khanal, Treasurer Lima Adhikari, Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha, and leaders Ganesh Parajuli, Toshima Karki, Asim Shah, Shiva Nepali, Basumaya Tamang, Nisha Mehta, Pukar Bam, Prakash Bishta, Tapeshwar Yadav, and Khushbu Raja Shrestha.
