NEPSE index edges up 0.20 percent



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index saw a slight increase of 0.20 percent on Thursday, closing at 2,974.46 points, up by 6.01 points from the previous session.

Yesterday, the index had a modest rise of 2.11 points, ending at 2,968.44 points.

Today’s trading session began with the index at 2,974.78 points and experienced notable fluctuations, peaking at 3,018.93 points and dipping to 2,967.47 points before closing at its final value.

The day was marked by significant trading activity, with 333 stocks traded through 216,455 transactions, totaling 40,951,720 shares and generating a turnover of Rs. 19.16 billion.

Market capitalization increased to Rs. 4.72 Kharba, while float market capitalization reached Rs. 1.66 trillion.
