KMG Chairman Sirohiya taken to Janakpurdham following arrest

JANAKPUR: Kantipur Media Group’s Chairman Kailash Sirohiya, who was arrested in connection with a forged citizenship case, has been taken to Janakpur.

He was brought to Janakpur by road (BP Highway) from Dhulikhel, Sindhuli on Wednesday morning.

Sirohiya arrived at the District Police Office in Dhanusha at 5:50 am.

On Tuesday, the police had taken Sirohia directly to Dhanusha from the central office of Kantipur Media Group in Thapathali.

Dhanusha District Police received a case against Sirohiya on April 29 regarding his alleged citizenship fraud.

The District Court, Dhanusha, granted permission to arrest him on Tuesday.

Sirohiya was arrested from Tinkune, Kathmandu, on Tuesday evening.
