Kathmandu Valley braces for weather swings

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted fluctuating weather conditions for the Kathmandu Valley today.

Initial reports indicate a visibility of only 2 km in the morning, signaling potential disruptions.

However, as the day progresses, the intensity is expected to subside.

At 7:20 a.m., temperatures hovered around 13 degrees Celsius, with a morning low of 11.9 degrees Celsius.

It said that the temperatures in the Valley will reach a high of 19 to 21 degrees Celsius later in the day.

There’s a likelihood of light rainfall in the afternoon, adding to the variability.

Unfortunately, prospects for sunshine remain dim, with minimal chances of clear skies over the Valley.
