KATHMANDU: Professor Dr. Kesharjung Baral has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University (TU).
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who also serves as the Chancellor of the university, has appointed Baral to the esteemed position.
Baral’s appointment comes following the recommendation of the selection committee, which was chaired by Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Ashok Kumar Rai.
A total of 43 individuals had submitted applications for the role.
