UML Central Committee meeting to continue even today

KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the CPN-UML is taking place today as well with team leaders presenting the outcomes of the group discussions held on Wednesday.

The focus will be on the concept and action plan presented during the seventh meeting at the central office, Chyasal in Lalitpur.

To thoroughly examine the presented concept and formulate a comprehensive conclusion, the UML engaged in collective discussions organized into nine groups.

Key figures, including Senior Vice Chairman Ishwor Pokharel on party purification and strengthening, Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel on the organizational principles of democratic centralism and a people-centric worker party, and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel on party organizational issues presented their respective action plans in the previous session.

Likewise, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali presented the action plan for managing public pressure.

The outcomes of these plans will be the subject of discussion among the nine groups today.

The UML has anticipated that the meeting would conclude today, with party president KP Oli delivering his response following the presentation of the group’s summary report.
