Rain likely in Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati provinces



KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported the prevailing influence of a westerly low-pressure air system in Nepal.

As per the Division’s update, there is a partial to general replacement in weather patterns across the country.

This afternoon, the skies are forecasted to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.

There is a likelihood of light rain in select areas of the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as a few other locations across the country.

Furthermore, there is a possibility of light snowfall in certain high hills and Himalayan areas.

During the night, there is a potential for light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas, specifically in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces.

Likewise, light snowfall may occur in a few locations in the high hilly and Himalayan areas.

The Division has urged people to take necessary precautions as the expected rain, snowfall, and cold weather may impact daily activities, including agriculture, health, tourism, mountain climbing, and road transport.
