Two medical students killed in motorcycle accident in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: Two youths, who were pursuing their studies in medicine in Birgunj, Parsa, lost their lives in a motorcycle accident.

According to the police, the accident occurred at Birgunj-15, claiming the lives of two students enrolled in the MBBS program at Birgunj National Medical College.

The deceased individuals have been identified as 23-year-old Sumit Yadav from Dhanusha and 23-year-old Sanchit Yadav from Bara.

DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa informed that both victims were second-year MBBS students.

Authorities suspect that the motorcycle accident may have resulted from excessive speed.

The bodies of the two youths are currently at Narayani Hospital for post-mortem examinations, with ongoing investigations by the police into the incident.
