Budhanilkantha area to witness temporary power outage today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a temporary electricity disruption lasting at least 4 hours today in specific locations within Kathmandu.

In a public notice issued today, the Authority stated that the interruption in electricity service is necessitated by the need to place the electrical line underground at the Maharajgunj distribution center.

According to NEA, power supply will be suspended from 9 am to 1 pm in the area spanning from Chapali Ghumti Chowk to Budhanilkantha under the Tarebhir feeder.

The NEA has urged residents and businesses in these areas to plan accordingly for the scheduled outage.
