KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Thursday).

The value of the US dollar remains unchanged from yesterday, while the Kuwaiti dinar has decreased in value.

Conversely, the values of other foreign currencies, including the Australian dollar, British pound, and Bahraini dinar, have increased.

According to the exchange rates published by the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 134 rupees and 77 paisa, while the selling rate is 135 rupees and 37 paisa. This is the same rate at which the US dollar was traded yesterday.

Today, the buying rate for one euro is 142 rupees and 15 paisa, with a selling rate of 142 rupees and 78 paisa.

In comparison, yesterday’s rates were 142 rupees and 22 paisa for buying and 142 rupees and 85 paisa for selling.

The buying rate for one British pound today stands at 170 rupees and 54 paisa, while the selling rate is 171 rupees and 30 paisa.

This reflects an increase from yesterday’s rates of 170 rupees and 25 paisa for buying and 171 rupees and 01 paisa for selling.

Today, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is 87 rupees and 63 paisa, with a selling rate of 88 rupees and 02 paisa.

Yesterday, the buying rate was 87 rupees and 51 paisa, and the selling rate was 87 rupees and 90 paisa.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is 438 rupees and 15 paisa, with a selling rate of 440 rupees and 08 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate was 438 rupees and 32 paisa, and the selling rate was 440 rupees and 27 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar today is 357 rupees and 53 paisa, with a selling rate of 359 rupees and 12 paisa.

This is a slight increase from yesterday’s buying rate of 357 rupees and 50 paisa and selling rate of 359 rupees and 10 paisa.
