Gold price up by Rs 1,900 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 1,900 per tola in the Nepali market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is fixed at Rs 144,700 per tola, while standard gold is traded at Rs 144,000 per tola.

On Thursday, the gold was traded at Rs 142,800 per tola. Likewise, the standard gold was traded at Rs 141,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,865 per tola today.

The Federation sets the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market daily, based on international market rates.

For reference, one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
