Nepal could become global destination for Yoga researchers: President



KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed that Nepal has the potential to become a global hub for researchers studying Yoga science.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of International Day of Yoga, President Paudel encouraged everyone to embrace Yoga to achieve physical and mental health and happiness.

President Paudel emphasized that Yoga is not just a physical exercise but a scientific lifestyle based on rules and discipline.

He highlighted that Yoga can infuse positive energy through meditation, helping individuals remain stress-free. Additionally, he noted that Yoga enhances daily work efficiency and boosts immunity against diseases.

In his message, President Paudel pointed out that historical and archaeological evidence supports Nepal as the origin of Yoga.

He mentioned the significant influence of Yoga on Nepalese temples, crafts, and paintings. He also emphasized the contributions of Yoga teachers and researchers in establishing this rich heritage.

Yoga Helps Bind the World in Unity: Vice President

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, in a similar message, expressed his belief that International Yoga Day promotes global unity.

He noted that Yoga contributes to a healthy and happy life, and the day provides an opportunity for humanity to benefit from its practice.

Vice President Yadav remarked that International Yoga Day is not only a celebration of physical exercise but also an important occasion to honor ancient traditions.
