Foreign Minister Shrestha reveals property details: No house in Kathmandu, uses vehicle provided by Prachandaa



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has disclosed the details of his properties.

According to the property details revealed on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Shrestha does not own a house in Kathmandu.

He currently resides in a government-owned building in Lalitpur.

Prior to his appointment as Minister, he lived in a rented house.

Shrestha owns inherited lands totaling 31 ropanis 15 ana 1 paisa, 1 ropani 10 ana 1 paisa 1 dam, and 4 ropanis 7 ana 3 paisa 3 dam in Siranchowk Rural Municipality-8, Gorkha.

He has announced that these properties are in the process of being handed over to the CPN Maoist Center, as per his commitment made in 2058 BS.

Additionally, Minister Shrestha has savings of Rs 122,918.64 in an account at Rastriya Banijya Bank.

He has declared that he does not hold any shares or loans.

Currently, he is using a vehicle provided by Prime Minister and party Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
